Sun Wukong, from the Chinese epic Journey To The West. I'd like to read the actual text one day and then try the character again….

This commission style starts with a digital drawing, offering a unique look similar to my earlier digital endeavors. You may get your character in this style for 75USD, and that includes the high-res image, capable of a huge poster print.

Email character refs/good animal photos to wahay4u (at) gmail (dotcom) and we'll work it out.

Not my favourite Wukong ever, but it does have a nice simplicity to it, I s'pose. Thanks for the compliment!

My mom actually read me this as a kid, being from Texas this is weird but she always shows me things from everywhere, and seeing the monkey king like this just brings back memories. Thanks dude, this literally made my day.

Great drawing. I didn't read the original Chinese, but I read the English translation and it was really good.
