I drew this during my plane ride(s). I chose primary colors when I realized that my last romp with them was probably elementary school! (I used a light purple for the background, so I guess I cheated a little!) I mixed colors to get most of the "black" lines you see.
I don't know what this robot's name is yet, but I decided he represents the part of me that wants good done.
My Ego and Id (in Freudian psychology, which I don't like) will come sometime in the future. I don't have details entirely on what they will look like.

Good choice! The primary colors definitely work to make the robot a lot more interesting than if it had been simply metallic. Also, I have to say, I am quite envious of your colored pencil skills. Very nice job!
Freudian psychology is one of my least favourites. He had some valid points, but tended to enjoy masking them in very sexual theories most likely budding from the thing he had for his step-mum...
Yeah. >_>

When I think of something witty to say, I'll let you know.
I have told you how much I love your robots, right? XDD
This is soo awesome. I think your choice in colors and media add a softness to the robot that makes it not just another tinhead! I'm looking forward to the Ego and Id.
I was just thinking of my robot a half hour ago (I was mowing the lawn and had nothing better to think of) and I thought of the people that liked it. I can't even begin to explain what it means to me that someone else out there would feel attached to this adorable figure. It's almost like it connects both of us in that little smile of his.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
